The AUA has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) since 1977.

The ACCME is accountable to the public for setting and maintaining accreditation requirements that are designed to ensure that CME accredited within the ACCME system is based on valid content, is free from commercial influence or bias, and contributes to the quality and safety of health care.

In July 2014, AUA fulfilled the accreditation requirements for Accreditation with Commendation. As a leader in providing quality, evidence-based urologic education, the AUA takes great pride in this honor.
