Data Grants Overview
The AUA accepts letters of intent for research proposals that address key knowledge gaps and emerging research questions related to urological care delivery, workforce development and health policy.
Funding
Each grant will not exceed $25,000, payable in two installments. The funding aims to cover up to one year of costs related to project initiation, management, implementation and presentation (excluding salary support for the principal investigator).
The AUA will provide the full spectrum of data and statistical support needed to execute funded projects.
The first installment will be paid at the start of the grant period, which is expected to be January 1, 2018. Payment of the second installment is contingent upon the awardee making satisfactory progress and meeting reporting milestones during the first half of the grant period.
Eligibility
All AUA members are eligible and encouraged to apply.
